Yes, it would appear so... The mission map for this area is blacked out except for where we are right now. [ Which makes sense, if the mission is to locate the exit. ]

It's a large maze... I've been down several ways, only to hit dead-ends or traps. I haven't gone down this way, yet. [ Gestures toward a hall of pillows. ]

There do not seem to be any aggressive enemies. [ Or...enemies at all, as of yet. Just super annoying traps...

Which is a good thing. Nanami being asleep in a place with enemies would have been even more worrying than finding the other girl asleep in a place without them. The traps are kind of irritating, as are the dead ends, but that's a doable game. An easy one, even, without any need to impede a User. ]

Would you like to join forces? [ And, knowing how to speak to the other girl: ] A co-op mission may be more effective than a single-player in this scenario. We should move cautiously, and together.

I agree, that sounds like a good idea... We can split the loot, if we find any. [ So far none of that, either, and Nanami had broken open several pillows searching. ]
